A new position within our business is now available for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to provide financial management of the accounts payable function ensuring the efficient, timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors for the branch. The Accounts Payable Clerk will also provide general office administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Inter company processing and coding of vendor invoices into the general ledger
  • Receive, verify, allocate and record vendor invoices in MS Dynamics AXAPTA
  • Sorts and matches invoices to purchase orders / delivery dockets, resolving any discrepancies promptly
  • Control and reconcile petty cash for the office
  • Responds to enquires from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
  • Providing support to the Quality Coordinator with product Non Conformance Reports
  • General administration duties including answering phones and visitor sign-in and out
  • Manage the ordering of general office supplies
  • Manage mail, couriers etc into and out of the office

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum Diploma level qualification in Finance / Accounting
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in a similar accounts payable role
  • Experience in manufacturing industry beneficial
  • Experience with international inter-company transactions
  • Maintaining records, preparing reports and correspondence
  • Previous exposure to MS Dynamics AX
  • Able to provide an excellent customer service experience – building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identification with tna values including being a team player, passionate, professional, committed, honest and treat people with dignity and respect
