About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Group IT Operations Manager to provide day to day support and leadership to TNA’s IT Operations team across the various regions. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has been in a TEAM LEADER position and is looking for their next career opportunity. This position will be based at the Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park – Sydney, Australia and will report directly into the Chief Executive Officer, based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will be as follows:

  1. Provide day to day support and leadership to TNA’s IT Operations team across the regions
  2. Provide guidance & development plans in IT Ops to support regional IT support teams
  3. Develop the IT operational plans according to a specialized area.
  4. Research and recommend innovative IT solutions to improve efficiencies and reduce operational costs
  5. Participate with the leadership team in establishing the IT strategic plan as well as the annual budget in line with company strategies.
  6. Maintaining the security and integrity of the company’s IT systems
  7. Maintain accurate departmental records, including hardware assets and software licenses
  8. Ensure that software license terms are not breached
  9. Project manage new site IT installations or upgrade existing sites
  10. Install and configure network switches, routers and firewalls
  11. Install and administrate servers, laptops and PCs including operating systems and applications
  12. Maintain Office 365 and Azure Cloud Services
  13. Develop, document installation, configuration procedures and network topologies
  14. Perform daily system monitoring of servers, LAN, WAN and telecoms
  15. Provide support for end users
  16. Apply software security patches and upgrades
  17. Configure and maintain the company’s network and server infrastructure operating systems
  18. Ensure IT Helpdesk tickets are monitored and closed within SLA

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in an ITC discipline with additional certification in Microsoft.
  • Work Experience:
    5+ years working as an IT Senior Team Leader
  • Strong understanding of DHCP, DNS
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies
  • Experience with VMware
  • Experience with SAN technologies
  • Experience with Remote Desktop Services
  • Experience in IT Security
  • Experience in Backup solutions + Azure cloud backup
  • MCSA or equivalent on the job experience
  • Experience in supporting Microsoft products. (Office 365, Visio, Project)
  • Experience in Azure Cloud
  • Experience in using a ticket system with Global companies
