About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Group IT Operations Manager to provide day to day support and leadership to TNA’s IT Operations team across the various regions. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has been in a TEAM LEADER position and is looking for their next career opportunity. This position will be based at the Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park – Sydney, Australia and will report directly into the Chief Executive Officer, based in Sydney.
Key responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will be as follows:
- Provide day to day support and leadership to TNA’s IT Operations team across the regions
- Provide guidance & development plans in IT Ops to support regional IT support teams
- Develop the IT operational plans according to a specialized area.
- Research and recommend innovative IT solutions to improve efficiencies and reduce operational costs
- Participate with the leadership team in establishing the IT strategic plan as well as the annual budget in line with company strategies.
- Maintaining the security and integrity of the company’s IT systems
- Maintain accurate departmental records, including hardware assets and software licenses
- Ensure that software license terms are not breached
- Project manage new site IT installations or upgrade existing sites
- Install and configure network switches, routers and firewalls
- Install and administrate servers, laptops and PCs including operating systems and applications
- Maintain Office 365 and Azure Cloud Services
- Develop, document installation, configuration procedures and network topologies
- Perform daily system monitoring of servers, LAN, WAN and telecoms
- Provide support for end users
- Apply software security patches and upgrades
- Configure and maintain the company’s network and server infrastructure operating systems
- Ensure IT Helpdesk tickets are monitored and closed within SLA
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in an ITC discipline with additional certification in Microsoft.
- Work Experience:
5+ years working as an IT Senior Team Leader
- Strong understanding of DHCP, DNS
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policies
- Experience with VMware
- Experience with SAN technologies
- Experience with Remote Desktop Services
- Experience in IT Security
- Experience in Backup solutions + Azure cloud backup
- MCSA or equivalent on the job experience
- Experience in supporting Microsoft products. (Office 365, Visio, Project)
- Experience in Azure Cloud
- Experience in using a ticket system with Global companies
