As part of our drive to provide greater operational efficiency and improved safety for our customers we have developed a new high speed light-weight former for our tna robag® 3ci packaging systems. With different formers needed for each type of product packaged on a production line, the weight of such items can be a real risk to the health and safety of workers during manual changeovers. Traditional formers can weigh up to 28kg which is considerably more than the weight limit of 20kg for most countries’ health and safety regulations. At approximately half this weight, the new tna flo-thru® former is light weight, making for easier and safer operator handling.
With a partial tube designed to maximise the area outside the tube for increased product flow at high speed, it also improves plant ergonomincs. Plus, the full stainless steel construction ensures ease of cleaning and plant hygiene. Suitable for both new and retrofits, the new tna flo-thru® features an integrated gas flush design which prevents gas from disturbing the product. This also reduces ‘product in seal’, meaning rejects are lowered.
