COVID-19 (coronavirus) – important actions to ensure the safety of all

At tna, we regard the well-being of our global tna family including colleagues, customers, suppliers and partners as our primary responsibility. The outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and the rapid surge in reported cases is a cause for serious concern.

In light of this, it is incumbent upon us to not only safeguard the interests of our employees but also ensure that we put in place precautionary measures to help contain the spread. With that in mind, here is an update on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.

reduced travel; reduced direct contact

All travel to WHO designated ‘high-risk’ areas have been embargoed with effect from 14 February 2020 and will be reviewed again on 31 March 2020. Travel advisories to other regions are being closely monitored and our staff will be working from home, in some regions.

enhanced aftermarket support

With travel being limited, our global support structure has been enhanced, including free global phone support, which you can locate here. For pre-planned installations and commissioning, we will work with you closely to review and assess risks, to ensure uninterrupted production.

secured product supply

Supply concerns during the China factory shutdown have been addressed through our 6 global manufacturing sites to minimise supply delays.

cancellation of trade shows & events

As a precautionary measure we will NOT be participating in tradeshows or events until *31 May 2020 including:

  • 20 – 24 March, 2020: Snaxpo (USA)
  • 14 – 16 April, 2020: American Packaging Summit (USA)
  • 7 – 13 May, 2020: Interpack 2020 (Germany) – Postponed to 25 February, 2021

*Subsequent events and exhibition will be reviewed in due course

increased communications
