December 10, 2019
Sydney, Australia, 8 October 2019 — Nadia & Alf Taylor, co-founders of tna, a leading food processing and packaging solutions provider, were presented with insignias commemorating their appointment as Members (AM) of the Order of Australia. Her Excellency, the Honourable Margaret Beazley, Governor of New South Wales presented Nadia & Alf with the medals, in recognition of their significant service to the community through tna’s philanthropic initiatives, at an Investiture Ceremony at Government House Sydney. Instituted by Her Majesty the Queen in 1975, the Order of Australia was established as an Australian Society of Honour for recognizing Australian citizens and other individuals for achievements or meritorious service.
Speaking on the occasion, Nadia Taylor, co-founder of tna and the Nadia and Alf Taylor Foundation, said, “This recognition is an endorsement of tna’s mission and values that aims to embrace inclusive growth. We are both, humbled and deeply honoured to be recognized for our endeavours to lend support to the lesser fortunate, especially children and socially excluded groups, through tna’s humanitarian programs. Alf & I may be at the forefront of this, but it is the unstinting support of every tna team member, that allows us to share tna’s success with the disadvantaged.”
Following the commercial success of tna as a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions, the Nadia & Alf Taylor Foundation was established in 2002, and has supported more than 150 charities across 39 countries, focusing on interventions in a range of areas, including education, social enterprise, healthcare, human rights, emergency relief and animal rights.
