tna APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER TO ENHANCE ITS EUROPEAN CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Leading processing and packaging solutions provider appoints new European general manager to support growing customer base in the region

tna, the leading food processing and packaging solutions provider, is pleased to announce the promotion of Steve Burgess to the new position of general manager for Europe. With almost 20 years’ experience of the tna business, Steve will offer enhanced commercial, manufacturing, operational and after-sales support to the company’s growing customer base in Europe. This, coupled with his in-depth knowledge of the European market and tna’s extensive product portfolio, means customers and prospects will benefit from a dedicated specialist to support them in finding the right modular solutions to suit their needs.

Michael Green, managing director at tna, comments: “Since joining the company in 1998, Steve has held a number of roles. Starting out as a technical support engineer, he progressed to become an account manager for some of our key European clients. With his customer-centric ethos and enthusiasm, we’re certain he’ll provide customers in the region with the high level of on-the-ground-support they expect, enabling them to drive their businesses forward.”

Commenting on his appointment, Steve said: “I’m delighted to accept the position of general manager for Europe. Having been exposed to so many different parts of tna’s business over the last 18 years, I feel my experience prepares me for taking on this new role. This is a very exciting time for the company as it continues to grow from strength to strength, and I’m looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

He continues: “Working with customers to find the right solutions to achieve their production goals is something I’m particularly excited about. From project management to innovative solutions we build the right teams with the right people to ensure we design high quality and flexible systems capable of continually meeting their manufacturing and business objectives.”

Effective immediately, Steve assumes responsibility for all European operations and continues to be based in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
