tna UNVEILS INNOVATIVE PACKAGING LINE SOLUTIONS TO BRAZILIAN MARKET AT FISPAL 2013

tna  stand 144, FISPAL 2013, Anhembi Pavilion, São Paulo, Brasil, June 25-28 2013

Sydney, Australia, (5 June 2013): Leading packaging solutions specialist, tna, will be presenting its flagship high performance bagging, conveying and seasoning systems to the Brazilian market for the first time at FISPAL 2013. Visitors to the stand will be able to learn more about the new tna robag® FX 3ci high speed bagger, the tna intelli-flav® OMS 3c seasoning system and the tna roflo® HM 3 conveyor, as well as tna’s controls and automation capabilities.

The new tna robag® FX 3ci high speed vertical form fill and seal packaging machine provides manufacturers with a cutting edge system, delivering up to a 30 per cent improvement in performance in terms of output and reduction in rejects, while achieving unprecedented throughput rates of up to 150bpm on potato chips. With innovative new features including the new tna intelli-weigh® omega multi-head scale, the tna hyper-detect® metal detector and tna flo-thru former®, the new tna robag® 3ci provides manufacturers with a total bagging solution. Suitable for high volumes of sweet and savoury snacks, confections, cereals, pasta, powders, meat and poultry plus fresh and frozen produce, the tna robag® can be fully integrated up- and downstream into existing packaging lines.

Also on stand will be the tna intelli-flav® OMS 3c, the latest innovation in the company’s comprehensive seasoning range. A complete, one-piece solution for both wet and dry seasoning and flavouring, the tna intelli-flav® OMS 3c delivers exceptional performance and provides even coverage at throughput rates of 100 – 500 kg per hour for a wide variety of applications. Configured for on machine seasoning, the tna intelli-flav OMS 3c’s unique spray capability allows for the application of liquids, liquid flavours and slurries, in addition to dry powders. It can also be used as a standalone seasoning system for small snack lines. The innovative design consists of two high-precision continuous spray guns, with a wide variety of nozzles for tailored seasoning, while the liquid itself is delivered by a closed loop spray system which ensures accuracy.

tna’s technical experts will be demonstrating the tna roflo® HM 3 horizontal motion conveyor at FISPAL. This system smoothly distributes goods so breakages or loss of coatings are minimal, while at the same time reducing the risk of cross contamination. The tna roflo® HM 3 conveyor transfers products at high speeds of up to 15m per minute to improve productivity. With total control over speed and direction, the tna roflo® HM 3 also maintains the highest quality end products.

In addition, tna will demonstrate its controls system expertise by enabling visitors to experience the benefits of integrating tna’s equipment into a production line and improving the set up of existing control systems. Through the collection of detailed and reliable data from as many parts of the manufacturing process as possible, tna’s specialist solutions can target a variety of inefficiencies, such as poor product quality, material wastage or unsustainable processes. tna supports manufacturers in the design, installation and integration of their control systems to maximise productivity and maintain food safety, quality and traceability.

Thiago Roriz, regional manager, Brazil, tna, comments, “Following the recent opening of our first office in Brazil earlier this year, we are delighted by this exciting opportunity to get closer to our customers, present our cutting-edge product range and cement our position in this extremely important region. Our on the ground team in São Paulo, which includes both sales and service teams, enables us to better serve our growing number of customers, both locally in Brazil, and across the continent. In this way, we will be able to closely monitor market trends and activity across the region, facilitating the development of new, regional-specific technology to improve our response to local market needs.”
