Dallas, United States, 24 August 2018tna will present the latest cutting-edge solutions for the confectionery and snack industries at this year’s Pack Expo in Chicago, including its brand new tna intelli-flav® OMS 5.1 seasoning system. The new on-machine seasoning system is designed to IP65 standards to facilitate maintenance and meet the highest hygiene and sanitation requirements. In addition, tna now offers a range of new features such as a high-capacity stainless-steel drum, a heated oil circulation system and integrated bulk powder fill technology. As a result, the tna intelli-flav OMS 5.1 can now be used to accurately season an even wider range of products, including fried, baked and puffed snacks, such as chips, crackers and popcorn, but also confectionery like gummies and even frozen food applications that require more rigorous sanitation procedures like meats and seafoods.

With equipment ranging from roasters and fryers, conveyors, seasoning and coating systems, cooling and freezing technology, baggers and scales, metal detectors, inserters and labelers, controls systems and case packers – tna is the only supplier in the snack industry that offers complete turnkey solutions for every step of the production line. Furthermore, since its acquisition of NID, tna now offers a complete line of confectionery solutions, including kitchens, high-speed moguls, starch conditioning systems, oiling and sugar coating solutions. Visitors will be able to speak to tna’s confectionery experts and find out how the newly upgraded NID forté HMP 3 starch mogul can help them achieve higher speeds, greater flexibilities and advanced production efficiencies – all while delivering some of the highest sanitation standards.

“Our growth over the last 35 years has been exponential and we now offer one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking portfolios on the market,” comments Steven Wolfe, general manager – tna North America. “When combined with our full project management support and after-market services, this means that manufacturers are now able to improve the efficiencies of their entire line with equipment from a single supplier – from pre-processing equipment at the start of the line all the way to case packing solutions for the end of the line.”
