Muscat Chips, part of Mohammed Riaz & Partner LLC, partnered with TNA Solutions to launch a new potato chips business in Oman. As a first-time snack manufacturer, the company required a complete line partner capable of supporting every stage of the project; from line design and layout planning through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support.
Mohammed Riaz & Partner LLC was entering the snack food market for the first time with the launch of Muscat Chips and Muscat Chips Crinklz. As a greenfield project, the company needed more than equipment alone. It required a complete line solutions partner with the expertise to support facility design, equipment selection, installation and commissioning, while ensuring the line could accommodate future expansion and multiple pack formats.
TNA delivered a complete potato chip production and packaging line covering washing, peeling, slicing, blanching, frying, seasoning, distribution, weighing, metal detection, coding and packaging. The company also provided consultative support throughout the project, including layout design, utilities planning, installation and commissioning. The installation included:

The line is capable of producing up to 300 kg of potato chips per hour, supporting efficient, scalable production.
The packaging system delivers speeds of up to 120 pillow bags per minute for 12g pack formats.
The line handles multiple pack sizes, including 12g, 40g, 70g and 110g formats, helping Muscat Chips compete in a dynamic snack market.
The success of the project has already led Mohammed Riaz & Partner LLC to plan a second potato chip line, reinforcing confidence in the business and its partnership with TNA.
