Technical Writer – Woerden

As a technical writer you will be responsible to create product documentation for the tna food processing and packaging product portfolio to the required standards for both internal and external customers.

As part of global team of technical writers, you will actively contribute to the further development of tna documentation, information management, methodology and implementation.

Incidental travel may be required.

Core Responsibilities

• Research, develop, release and update product manuals and other technical documentation as required. Where required, arrange for documents to be translated.
• Produce bulletins for modifications, upgrades, retrofits etc for both internal and external customers.
• Support project managers by creating relevant project documentation
• Address customer requests for information in a timely manner.
• Assist in document control and management.

Desired Skills and Experience

Candidates will need to have the following:

• A reasonable understanding of mechanical / electrical systems. Qualifications or relevant experience in either area will be highly regarded.
• Very high-level written English.
• Excellent communications and problem-solving skills.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role or environment.
• Competency with help authoring applications, such as Help and Manual.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Effectively manage multiple projects independently whilst working to deadlines.
• Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Exposure to the food and packaging industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of CE (European) compliance standards or similar is desirable but not mandatory.
• Exposure to 3D CAD systems is desirable but not mandatory.
